Terms & Conditions
For Nightcrawler to provide Mobile Disco entertainment for your function you must accept the terms & conditions bellow & adhere to them.
Booking Details:
- All agreements of the booking itself are found on the booking form, which you will be sent via post or email. Both the client & myself must aprove any changes to these details before the date of the function.
- A booking is not deemed as confirmed untill the booking form & deposit are recieved.
Payments:
- A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee is required to confirm the booking when you sign and return the booking form. A booking is not deemed as confirmed until this payment is received. Payment of the full balance is required within 7 days of the event. Late balance payments may result in the booking being cancelled unless alternative payment arrangements have been made. Payments can be made by postal order or cheque. Alternatively payment can be made by any major debit/credit card via PayPal.
Cancellations:
- any cancellation by the client before 7 days of the event will result in loss of the deposit. Any cancellation within the seven days before the event will result in loss of full payment.
- In the highly unlikely event that I have to cancel the event all payments will be repaid.
- I reserve the right to withdraw my services should I discover that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In this event no refund will be made.
Setup & Dismantling:
- I require suitable time for the installation, dismantling and removal of equipment (minimum of one hour both before and after the event).
Venue/Health & Saftey:
- All details regarding the accessability of the function room are to be provided by the client. If upon arrival to the venue I find the access is not as previously discussed I reserve the right to apply a surcharge to account for the extra work involved. Payment is required before we remove any equipment from our vehicles.
- A suitable parking area must be available for the loading and unloading of the equipment at the venue.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with at least 1 working standard double socket.( 2 is prefered).
- It is the clients responsibility to ensure equipment booked is suitable for use at the event venue. No refunds, part or full, will be given for non-use of specific equipment that cannot be used due to any venue restrictions imposed. Not all disco equipment is designed to fit through narrow doorways and/ or up staircases. It is the clients responsibility to inform me of any access restrictions that may impede set up or restrict equipment use.
- It is solely the responsibility of the client to ensure the venue complies with Health & Safety.
- A copy of the latest “Portable Appliance Test” certificate can be inspected, as can a copy of my Public Liability Insurance.
- I will not be liable for breaches of byelaws, or conditions under which the venue is leased, hired, or entrusted to the client.
- The client will ensure that all appropriate licenses required by the event organiser (as required by law) are in force at the time of the event, and therefore the company cannot be held liable in anyway.
- In the event of fire, flooding, public disturbance, terrorist activity or any other threat to the public, we will not be responsible to evacuate any venue or building where we are present and / or working within, unless the fire regulations for the venue specify otherwise. This would usually incur a vocal announcement.
Delays:
- If the start of the event is delayed due to us being unable to gain access to the performance area, or any other delay beyond our reasonable control, I will not be liable for any refund whatsoever.
Abuse:
- It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure the good conduct of their guests towards me and my assistants. If at any time before or during the function we deem our persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to terminate the disco without notice. In the event of this happening refunds will not be given..
Dj Conduct:
- Any assistants & I will conduct ourselves in a proper manner throughout our attendance at the venue and will respond to requests as to volume, situating of equipment and/or any other reasonable requests.
Security:
- The client will be held responsible for any theft or damage of any equipment (including vehicles stored on the premises).
- It is solely the responsibility of the client to ensure the venue has sufficient and legal security for both personnel and equipment (including vehicles).
- I will not be held responsible for damage to the venue caused by the clients guests or any equipment.
